Event Marketing Inc (EMI) was founded over 20 years ago as an adjunct agency to the American Poolplayers Association “The Governing Body of Amateur Pool in America” for pursuing sponsor and marketing opportunities. As such, EMI operates as a complimentary agency to the sponsors agency of record offering activation ideas and acting as a liaison for the APA back to both sponsor and their agency. EMI positions itself as an asset/resource to agencies versus that of a competitor.
Over the years EMI has brokered deals with the Bud Light and Michelob AmberBock brands of Anheuser-Busch; Brown-Forman Jack Daniel’s; Molson beer from Molson Breweries; Camel brands from RJReynolds as well as consulting in deals involving CareFirst Blue Cross, Samuel Metals and others offering marketing assessments and opinions beyond on-premise marketing ideas [Pool-Darts] to include auto racing and other sports
